About

I am a licensed psychologist working with adults and adolescents, providing individual therapy and parenting consultation and support.

My Approach
I offer a compassionate and nonjudgmental space, with an emphasis on trust, transparency, and open communication. My approach is gentle and thoughtful, while also direct when clarity or structure is helpful. Together, we work to clarify goals, deepen self-understanding, practice new skills, and make intentional choices, supporting you in navigating challenges in ways that feel values-aligned and authentic to who you are.

My Path
My path into mental health began in education, where I worked as an elementary school teacher. I was drawn to children’s curiosity, learning, and the meaningful connections that developed through one-on-one work. This experience sparked my interest in supporting individuals more deeply and led me to pursue training in clinical psychology, with a focus on working with children and adolescents.

These experiences have shaped my understanding of how early relationships and life experiences influence emotional and behavioral development across the lifespan. This developmental lens, rooted in my work with children and adolescents, continues to inform my work with adults and parents, allowing me to approach therapy with depth, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique history.

I have since worked in a range of settings, including university outpatient clinics, a children’s hospital, a Federally Qualified Health Center, community mental health (outpatient and intensive programs), and private practice, where I have worked extensively with adolescents, adults, and parents across a wide range of concerns.
